In my professional practice, I provide practical, evidence-based support that yields results. Over a decade working in the mental health and alcohol and other drug sector provided extensive training and experience working with a broad range of conditions, including depression, anxiety, PTSD, trauma, and substance use/addiction. I continue to work with a diverse range of people now. In my private practice, I help couples who are having problems in their relationship and support individuals dealing with relationship or workplace stress. I work with veterans, EAP and WorkCover, and provide coaching for businesses.

My Approach

My primary therapeutic frameworks are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). These methods empower clients to gain insights into their thoughts, emotions, actions, and their impacts, while also learning effective ways to respond to life's challenges. I also utilise Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), a World Health Organization (WHO) endorsed treatment for Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Research also supports the use of EMDR with a variety of other conditions and presentations. In my regular practice, I integrate elements of Mindfulness, Schema Focused Cognitive Therapy, Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), further enhancing the breadth and depth of support I provide to the people I work with.
