Hi, I'm Michelle

My therapeutic style is direct, authentic, and engaging. My clients have said I am very down-to-earth and easy to talk to. I combine the professionalism of evidence-based therapy with warm-best-friend type of vibes.

I predominantly work with adults for mental health and relationship issues. I have 10 years of experience and have worked in various settings including mostly private practice, EAP and forensic psychology. I have always been interested in what makes people "tick" and helping them to live to their true potential, whatever that may mean to them.

My Approach

My approach will depend on your own personal goals for therapy. The main therapeutic frameworks I work within are Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Solutions-Focussed therapy. I also work with adults on relationship issues, and with couples using the Gottman Model of Couples Therapy. Most of the therapy I do is quite practical, meaning that I will often give strategies, readings, or practice exercises for you to complete to help you make meaningful change.
